Description
Cylinder head bolt toque specs from the factory service manual are in 3 stages:
1st stage: 29 ft lb
2nd stage: 40 ft lb
3rd and final stage: 60 ft lb
240Z/260Z/280Z Standard
9 x 11056-P3000
5 x 11059-P3000
240Z/260Z/280Z Turbo
9 x 11056-P7600 x9
5 x 11059-P7600 x5
The L series engines use two different lengths of head bolts, “11056” and “11059”, the difference being whether the cam holders are co-tightened or not. There is no length difference between the turbo and NA versions.
Also, the “11056” and “11059” have two different part numbers “P3000” and “P7600”, but according to our engineers the difference seems to be strength. “P3000” is used for standard version and “P7600” is used in the turbo version.
